Kay Jacoby
Kay Sasser Jacoby, a native of Ozark, Alabama, graduated from the University of Alabama with majors in Art and
Advertising. She has lived most of her adult life in Birmingham where she managed two art galleries, adult and children’s
boutiques, and created a cottage industry of hand painted plaques in 2001. Through all these years she’s woven
creativity into her life and those around her. She and her husband, Ray, moved to Montgomery in 2006, where she
continued her enthusiasm for the arts. Since then she has revamped and managed the Montgomery Museum of Fine
Arts Museum Store and served as the Community Arts Program Manager at the Alabama State Council on the Arts. She
recently retired from the Arts Council to focus on her painting and enjoying art in everyday life.
